This article tells it all about the U.S. Customs and how they are paid off by drug cartels.

"The investigation of The Associated Press has entered a number of accusations regarding cases of corruption and discovered that at least 80 civil servants in authority all the levels, federal, state and local, have been processed throughout the southwestern border from 2007 (in this investigation).

As of 2003, about 129 people working for customs and the Border Patrol have been arrested under corruption accusations, added the chief inspector of investigations of the Department of Internal Security, Tom Frost.

That number includes the North border and other ports from entrance to the United States.

"The strategies used by the organizations of the drug trafficking in their activities of corruption are similar to the processes or strategies used by foreign intelligence services that look into somehow recruiting or jeopardizing our officials and agentes", Frost added. These actions of corruption "include almost all the layers of the strategy of border security of the Department of Internal" Security; including the employees who work far from the border but with access to delicate information.

The narcotics traffickers have used that access "in order to protect to the members of the organizations of the drug trafficking, to give pursuit to the investigations and to identify the individuals that they cooperate with government", concluded Frost.

Folks, this means our National Security is at risk by members of Homeland Security, as I've been explaining all along. When we can't even protect our borders from corrupt I.C.E. agents, who work for the department of Homeland Security, then it is no wonder many families are divided when they attempt to legally bring their relatives to their country of birth. My question is this...since we are concerned about Domestic Terrorism, why aren't the U.S. news agencies addressing this? The answer is that this feeds the capitalist system of supporting corporations running prison management systems like Corrections Corporation of America and Wackenhut. Housing immigrants is big business, where it used to be something we did to control immigration.

When two drug dealers paid $120,000 to Roger Pablo Morales, the Director of DGME in Nicaragua, for their release...he KNEW the profits of prison management. He continued holding these two Mexican nationals even after taking the $120,000 bribe, knowing that if he released these two, the cartels would come after him. I wonder how many U.S. citizens are being held there incommunicado today, as Daniel Ortega tries to convince the world that he is determined to clean up any human rights abuses in his country. And as President Obama discusses a complete overhaul of our U.S. Immigration system (which many Republicans hoping he puts it on the back burner) I wonder if he will prosecute the I.C.E. agents at Florence, Arizona who are stealing the money out of the wallets of immigrants being readied for deportation. Homeland Security in the U.S. is nothing more than a corporate processing center for prison management CEOs. It does nothing to protect our borders when this type of thing happens, and I've been saying that all along.
