I'm reminded of our hideous episode of Manifest Destiny in the U.S., where Mexican-Americans, blacks and Chinese-Americans who owned property were hung and run over the border, as racist corpulent pigs stole their deeds with xenophobic legislation and doctrine. And I see the same thing in SJDS, and other American enclaves in Central America.

Except that in SJDS, what I see is a group of self serving nitwits who take over Nicaraguan land in a small enclave of North Americans circling their wagons for safety against the tribes, bringing their bullshit modernization to an area with enough social balance to educate every fledgling hippie in the U.S., and implanting warped American ideas there.

The only difference today is the phonies that do this have a sense of humility and try to act poor as they hide their American Express gold cards, to show the "natives" that they are one with the villagers. Even the economic activities of these self serving "pioneers" remind me of this disgusting time in history. They come to places like this with other vulgar Americans in a self imposed destiny to expand across Central America and conquer the little people, rape their teen aged daughters, and post a bunch of b.s. online that would even make the CIA laugh at how provincial their ideas are, with their silly attempts to defend democracy throughout the world. And the most hilarious thing is that they are doing this in a country run by socialists and Sandinistas. It's probably the best comedy show I've ever seen.
