Nicaragua IS VERY safe!
Jorge - Ya might want to go back & re-read my posting. What I said that was that MANY MANY MANY people in Costa Rica HAD (in the past) shared with me in the past that NI was not safe & that, along with LONG lines at the border were BIG reasons I HAD had NO desire to visit NI - UNTIL I went & I said I find Nicaragua SAFER than CR & I LOVE going SOLO/alone & feel VERY safe there!!
