Advertisements in Sidebars & How to Turn Them Off

I recently added a few advertisements in the sidebars of the site to pay for the web hosting and give readers some related sites to visit for further research.  If you would like to turn the advertisements off, simple log in to your account (or create an account if you don't have one), go to the Edit tab, and scroll down until you see the "Block Configuration" section.  There you can uncheck any advertisements you don't want to see.  You can also uncheck the "Popular Content" block from the right side and the "Recent Comments" block if for some reason you prefer to explore without those.

By the way, welcome to the new members on the site.  Feel free to post stories, pictures, or questions - just log in, then click "Create Content" in the left menu, and choose either Blog (usually for stories), Forum (usually for questions or discussions), or Image (for pictures) - your content will immediately posted to the front page.
