June 2 in Boulder, Colorado and on the Travel Channel - Nicaragua's Bizarre Foods Featuring Andrew Zimmern and Joshua Berman

If you're in Boulder, Colorado, trot on over this coming Tuesday to the party for Joshua Berman's celebration of his travel channel program. You might even win a guitar in the raffle. If you're not in Nicaragua, you might just watch the episode as it debuts that same day.
More details here: http://joshuaberman.net/events.html
Joshua Berman is well-known for writing the Moon Handbook along with Randy Wood of the Moon Handbook travel guide to Nicaragua (I do recommend based on the good information in the previous edition) and Moon Living Abroad in Nicaragua
that I took a look at in someone else's house and don't recommend as strongly.
I met Josh just once, five years ago, and read a lot of his writings as I was learning about Nicaragua. I also met Randy around that time as well.

It's good not to have too much money.
Hola,
Some of you have been following my Vida Nueva Aventura travel journals, a celebration of life in Costa Rica. I have just posted a new journal entry entitled “It’s good not to have too much money.” It’s about my recent trip to Turrialba. I talk about how my 20 year old daughter stayed out til three a.m., we went to the top of the volcano and how I learned about car repair in Spanish. Check it out and let me know what you think! http://www.travelexperiencecostarica.com
