How Far Does $500 Million Go in Costa Rica?

 The world bank recently approved a cool $500 million loan for Costa Rica to counter the depression.

How far does this go?  $100 per person - about 2% of national salary - which, if you use a multiplying factor, could contribute maybe 10% additional to the GDP if people are spending - not bad.
