New Theme Installed (Finished Phase II of Upgrade, Adding Custom Zen Theme to Drupal Website Software)

peterchristopher's picture

I've finished this new version of the website, and I've made it the default "theme" for viewing the website.  If you prefer the old (red) theme without the sunset banner, you should be able to go into "My Account" then "Edit" and far down, select "Garland" (the old theme) instead of "Custom Zen CAF" (this new theme).

Please tell me what you think of the layout.

I would still like to do a few more improvements to the website - making it easier to add images with text, and easier to add/see images in general.

And unfortunately, I've just noticed that the "Unsupported operand types" error that sometimes happens when clicking "Submit Reply" hasn't gone away.  This means it might be due to the text editor.  So I'll try to install a new text editor to try that.

I hope you like the new layout.

ps One handy tip I have for everyone is how to easily change the font size.  You might want to do this if you are reading a website and the text appears very small.  Just hold down the control key and then with the wheel of your mouse, scroll up.  I almost always blow up any website I want to read in this way two steps.  [Later you can do Control-scroll-down if you want to reduce the text size again.]  This works with any website and almost any browser.

private-message module back online

I located the "fix" for the private message module and installed it.  Now private messages should be working again also.

fixed comment problem?

OK folks, I think I have finally, at long last, fixed the comment-dying problem.  Please be brave and try to post another comment (here or anywhere), and let me know through the "Contact" page of my user profile whether it's working or not...

a few more minor updates

I just finished installing a few additional minor updates.  Let me know if there are any problems.
