Today... day of transition for the weather?
According to this article, today is the day of transition when the weather will snap out of its funk...

thanks... wind...
We definitely noticed a lot of that wind when we were in Grecia and Vara Blanca a few weeks ago. Here in Uvita there's no big East wind now, probably never, as the mountains block it.
Well, when January hit, I found out why the trees were like that. The wind for the entire dry season was consistent, day and night, usually right around 10mph. Not enough to have a great windmill (unless maybe you built a big tower) but it was chilly and sometimes spooky.
I'm glad to hear you like the site. I'm working on a few details of the page layout right now, so bear with me if it looks a little bizarre for a few hours. If it seems that your display gets stuck with a bad layout, try "clear cache" from your browser tools menu. Any suggestions you have about color? I'm interested in any suggestions about the color and size for the background and text.
