Hola from the Caribe sur!
I took a bike ride yesterday and turned it into a tour you can take yourself, complete with photos, a map and the howls of a monkey! The surprise ending is something you may need my help with, if you decide to come to Costa Rica and try it. But even if you can't come here, you can enjoy the ride through my photos. Trip

I love to travel but due to very tight schedule every time its not possible to travel, but some time on holiday i just take out my bike & go for a long healthy ride which make me feel more relaxed.

Yes, the energy of this place is muy tranquilo and peaceful. And we have so much fresh fruits and vegetables that I am not surprised you could find good food. No, I haven't tried veronica's banana pancakes because I am so happy with Jonnathan's at Cafe Ivon. You'll just have to come back to try them, too.

Bike Trip

Hi Lisa. I loved this blog entry- my husband and I were there in April and we did the same bike trip - it was like reliving it when we went through the photographs on your blog. It is almost like being there again. I loved Manzanillo. Your blogs are an inspiration to us and we can't wait to come back. The culture there is so unique - I can't tell you what a shock it was staying in San Jose a few days after being in the jungle in Puerto Viejo for 10 days - LOL! NO comparison. I think the Rastas give Puerto Viejo it's unique vibe. I was a little concerned when we came there because I am vegan and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find the foods I like but that was no problemo!! The Rastas are vegan, too and they seem to make up most of the population there. Have you ever eaten Veronica's banana pancakes? YUM! I wish I had known about Jonathan's restaurant before we came, we missed it. Talk to you soon.
