Four Consecutive Flights From San Jose, Costa Rica to Manila, Philippines

peterchristopher's picture

It took us four flights to return from San Jose to Manila (then another flight to our home in Dumaguete).   Here is our photo collage of the flights.

The first flight was no problem. first flight

Then we had our first red-eye. We were ok, at least at the beginning of the flight.second flight

By the third flight (another redeye!) we were already tired.third flight

fourth flightOur last flight was just a short flight from Hong Kong.  No problem.  Well, ok, so we were admittedly still a bit tired!

Thanks, Peter.

No Peter, but thanks. I was wondering about the situation you had told me about a while back. It probably has not changed. And I was wondering how you are and your family. My best to you!

Nicaragua

I see.  I had already written the first draft of that at that point, I should have said "rewritten" which I have never done properly.  But now taking care of so many kids there is not enough time left for this kind of thing.  Maybe in about 15 or 20 years I will get to it... if you have any particular aspect you are interested in, I can see if I have anything on that topic and post it.

book?

Hi Lisa, What book do you want to read?  I've written quite a few although none of them are published.

Peter's Book

Do let us know the progress of your book, Peter. I want to read it!

What is your citizenship?

Hard for us to help you without this info.  You can fly through Netherlands and into Costa Rica without any visa whatsoever, if you are Filipino or American.

inquiry for flights from manila to costa rica

hi! i would like to go to costa rica soon . what's the best way/flight to take from manila to costa rica? (i don't have a us visa nor a schengen visa). would it require any transit visa ? thanks! please let me know!

depends!

If you are legally able to go to the U.S. then get a round trip to LA or Miami and continue with another round trip to San Jose... but because my wife didn't yet have a US visa, we had to go the long way with KLM... so depending on your situation it'll be $1500-$3500 round trip.

air fare to costa rica

hey do you have any idea what is the cheapest air fare going to costa rica from manila? the cheapest that you can think of... lol..

our plans ... we don't know yet ;)

We don't have committed future plans yet.  I'm sure we'll be back to Central America, but probably not in the next 12 months.  We plan to spend some time with Milyn's family here and then some time in the states as well.  Right now we are going to be staying put for at least six months here.  Come stop by if you are in the neighborhood. I might be writing the book about Nicaragua at last; if so, I'll post here.  We certainly intend to keep this website up in any case and to add a few pictures and stories from time to time.

Peter and Milyn

So Peter,

Are you done with Central America and now going to be residing in the South Pacific, or will you be back  in Costa Rica?

Hope you recover from Jet Lag soon
