Repercussions
It's evident that Zelaya and Ortega, are both members of Chaves' ALBA club, both are loyal followers of the Venezuelan leader's doctrine. Also, you probably know that Nicaragua is divided in two sides, pro & con Danielistas-Chavistas.
Whatever the result from the(illlegal) referendum or consulta in Honduras, it would embolden either side.
Interesting
What repercussions do you predict
Looks like indeed the drama on the Nicaraguan side of the border is hot on this issue.

Honduras Referendum
The Honduras' referndum(to reform the constitution) will be tomorow. Regardless of the result, will certainly have repercussions in the rest of C.A. specially in Nicaragua.
Honduras and Zelaya
Not that I'm in Honduras... but you can find your favorite perspective at twitter: https://twitter.com/#search?q=honduras
And sort through some expat emails: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/honduras_living/messages
I personally found this article about Zelaya interesting (though not timely)... According to the article, he says the candidate with the money wins the corruptible "sway" 10% of the elections. (Not to mention the percentage that the money already gets the candidate in paid and free advertising)...
