- to comment below - yes! so true. this particular tree is available as a plant, in a planting bag, not seed. the young trees are approximately 10 cm tall and i estimate weigh a bit more than a kilo with the soil. i think they would be happy in a warmer climate and lower elevation than Jinotega.
plant seeds quickly
in my experience - like many tropical fruits, this is one that has to be planted soon after eating the fruit. eat it and plant the seed. don't wait even a few days, as that greatly reduces germination.
