They raised the height of the wall in the back room (storage) These are fired blocks (I do not know why they used them but they are 8”X8”X16”, just like a cinder block but more expensive. More than likely they are left over materials from another job. The contractor was Alex’s (our oldest son-in-law) father who is a contractor and was giving us a “good deal”.
