I wanted to thank those who responded to my post it has given us some insight. Between that and thru conversations i have recently had with others i am getting a fair picture in my mind of what to expect. Actually one of the options we were considering was picking out an area we want to stay and renting for a year or so while we get a feel for what is available as far as a permanent home and what is an appropriate price. Also with the election pending in a year or so it may be wise to wait to see what occurs, hopefully the country will stay on the course it has taken over the last few decades and continue to slowly blossom into the potential flower of Central America it can some day be.

Are we (the U.S.) still funding this garbage through what is left of Nicaragua's MCC runout, or have we now cut these liars off?  I wish it were the latter, but I suspect it's the former.

SOME DETAINEES DRUGGED FOR DEPORTATION - IMMIGRANTS SEDATED WITHOUT MEDICAL REASON

Poor RSJGringita...wandering through life with a hilarious level of social naivety! She had the gall to bring up an immigration case similar to ours, involving a woman from New Zealand who had a less than favorable opinion of Homeland Security. And not being the brightest light bulb in the pack, she was naive enough to compare my past opinions about Homeland Security to this woman's shared views, not realizing the rope faced buzzards at Nicaliving would immediately try to invalidate the woman for sharing my opinion. (Of couse, these are men in their 50s and 60s on a quest to find youthful, obedient wives in Central America, spending most waking hours romancing poverty stricken school girls, still wearing Dora the Explorer panties and playing hopscotch, so go figure!)

Apparently, I've pissed off a raging xenophobe and homophobe with a Stepford wife in the Nica Living forums - KeyWestPirate, or something vacuous like that. Enough so that he is watching everything I write, as was brought to my attention. Even my husband had to laugh at that one (and he rarely finds these forums entertaining or amusing).

So....for the record, Sr. Pirate in Key West, you asked what happened and I'm proud to share this with you.

In a recent article attributed to "Toni Solo", the familiar critique appears that the Ortegas are truly the victim of bad press and in fact are not guilty of the repression and graft which has been attributed to them.  What do you think, LaFoca, is "Toni Solo" a real person?  Is it Rosarillo Murillo translated by somebody?

I posted a test subject on a site called The Real Nicaragua. It was most definitely a subject that I knew would draw a few out of the woodwork and raise blood pressures. And boy did it!

The title of the thread was:
"North Americans seeking 'Daddy/Daughter' relationships in Nicaragua"

And when I looked at the amount of response to that thread, even I was surprised

Compared to the rest of the threads, that was a HUGE number.

You can read through the posts and see that the response was volatile. Many posts were removed too, telling me to "F off," created by Just Plain John Wayne and a few others. They were overlooked as reasons to remove a participant, but I was removed from the site, when my "attacks" were tame in comparison. I knew that if I kept posting the facts about this subject I would be removed, so that was a no-brainer.

What a riot! I just had to laugh about this post by Phil Hughes, the KING of daddy/daughter fetishes!

Is this about envy from the profiteering these creeps do? Or is he feigning concern for the victims...the same victims he created in his photography sessions of under aged girls hugging his timeworn disgusting frame? It was brought to my attention that a few of “las pulgas,” the type you flick off your arm after they draw blood and step on, have been busily searching for every post I make outside of their cesspool of a forum. And a certain blog was brought to my attention.
